A fishing themed dice dexterity game combining the skill of target shooting with the luck of dice. Dice Derbi is a dexterity dice tossing game where players form teams, casting lures (dice) onto one of two game boards, trying to hit the honey hole and catch the largest fish. Based on fishing yet easily played by all ages.
The Objective: Be the first player or team to score 200 points (pounds) to win Dice Derbi in a head-to-head match or even a team battle.
The Challenge: Scoring points is a simple as a toss of the dice (lure) towards the target at the opposite end of the playing table. Scoring points (catching fish) will not only depend on where your dice lands but it will also depend on what you roll. Players can easily score up to 6 points in the “Sandbar”, up to 18 points in the “Drop-Off”, or even up to 30 points with one roll in the “Honey Hole” where the “Lunkers” are hiding. Play the TRADITIONAL MODE for an easier, faster pace game, or add Dice Derbi cards and take on the Dice Derbi more for a more advanced level of play.
HOWEVER, the dice have been modified to make things more interesting. Roll a “Dice Derbi” and you will get access to 100 different scenario / wild / bonus cards that can drastically change the pace of the game as well as the outcome. Hooks can get snagged in the weeds or nearby beaverdams, nearby animals will try to steal your catch, the weather can get ugly, but “Game Warden Larry” is always on the lookout and will occasionally come to your aid, however there are more twists and turns than one could imagine.
